Donna FrisingerAs an award-winning teacher of the performing arts, Donna Arlynn Frisinger has invested her life in kindling the flames of impossible dreams, to see hundreds of insecure wallflowers blossom into self-confident, purpose-driven achievers. She is the author of Bink and Slinky’s Ark Adventure (Standard Publishing, 2013) which not only received a Gold Mom’s Choice Award, but won “Best First Picture Book” and “Best Faith-Based Book” in the International Literary Classics Children’s Book Competition.

Donna’s poetry, fiction, and inspirational articles are in Focus on the Family’s Clubhouse and Clubhouse Jr. Magazines as well as in Mature Living, War Cry, Today’s Christian Woman, Marriage Partnership, Kyria, Ideals, Guidepost Books, Christian Communicator, Writers Journal, Power for Living and several anthologies. Her poetry garnered both first and second-place awards in the 2011 Athanatos Christian Writers Poetry Contest.

Married to her college band director sweetheart for 46 years, Donna has a BS and MA in Elementary Education from Butler University and Indiana/Purdue University, respectively, and is an ordained pastor. Together, she and her husband won numerous state and national championships, helped to pioneer Faith Outreach Center in Rochester, IN, where they go to church, and have been involved in music ministry for most of their married life. She is currently working on a middle-grade novel, other picture books, and a teen devotional, to encourage kids to always go for God’s best while owning their choices. Visit her at and on Facebook.
