Jill Osborne has worked with kids and teens in volunteer and vocational ministry for the last thirty years. She lives in Clovis, CA (near Fresno), and is currently employed as the Elementary Director at Northside Christian Church, in Clovis, CA.
Jill has also been a writer for many years. She has written skits for youth groups and church drama teams, curriculum for teen and children’s ministry, newsletter articles, and recently had one of her articles published in Clubhouse magazine. Her three-book series for pre-teen girls, The Good News Shoes, was published by Zonderkidz in 2014 under the Faithgirlz brand. Shortly after the release of the series, Jill launched a Faithgirlz ministry in her community that wraps Bible Study, prayer, games, skits, crafts, and mission projects around a monthly theme.
Jill regularly speaks at camps, retreats and special events for both kids and adults, and she recently began going into elementary schools to teach young people how to use their creative talents to write stories that will inspire others. One of her favorite events was a live on-line chat with two fan readers—answering their questions about the writing craft. That recording was then played for the whole fifth-grade at a public elementary school.
When she’s not writing or spending time with kids in ministry, Jill enjoys reading, running, and hanging out with her husband, Mike, their two grown children and their spouses, and their three energetic and often silly granddaughters.
