Sherry Gore is former editor-in- chief of Cooking & Such magazine, the author of seven titles including SIMPLY DELICIOUS AMISH COOKING, ME, MYSELF, AND PIE, three novels and her first memoir, THE PLAIN CHOICE. Sherry is a weekly scribe for the national edition of the Amish newspaper, The Budget, established in 1890. The National Geographic Channel featured Sherry prominently their documentary series, “Amish: Out of Order.”
Sherry’s culinary adventures have been seen on NBC Daytime; the Today show; Mr. Food Test Kitchen and more. Sherry travels frequently as a keynote speaker delivering topics relating to Cooking, Life After Loss and helping women of all ages discover their true identity in Christ. Sherry was a long-time year-round resident of the village of Pinecraft, the vacation paradise of the Plain People, located in the heart of Sarasota, Florida. She’s currently enjoying Tiny House living on the farm. She has three children, two grandchildren and is a member of a Beachy Amish Mennonite church. When not spending time with her family, writing, or eating, Sherry hosts her own radio show THE LAST BITE, and serves as an official pie contest judge.
